Farm News

We have some great news. We have added 3 goats to our farm. They are Nigerian Dwarfs. The best news is that 2 are expecting kid goats! Then we will be milking our goats so that we can make goat milk soap. Our little Wether (boy) goat comes to our home next week! He is only 7 weeks old and already runs to sit in our lap. They are adorable. Check back soon for pictures of our goats. I will be posting them soon!
Also we will be participating in National Alpaca Farm days which is the last weekend in September. Our farm will be open to the public.

Welcome to Secret Whisper Farm

All about Secret Whisper Farm
Secret Whisper Farm is a family based farm nestled in the woods in Oxford Connecticut. As you drive down the long dirt road that leads you to the farm your first view is of the alpacas, sheep and goats that live on the farm. Eventually the sheep and alpacas will be fiber animals for the farm.As you drive into the driveway the view of the horse barn and 3 beautiful horses greet you.The heart of this farm is their chickens and ducks who produce delicious fresh eggs. As you walk around the farm following the fence lines you are greeted by all the farm animals who come to say "Hi" and look for a treat. The view from the alpaca, sheep, and goat paddock is a lovely pond which is stocked with fish for the enjoyment of the family as pets.If you are in the Oxford area be sure to contact the Catlin family for a visit of their wonderful farm and homestead. Oh, and don't forget to buy some fresh farm raised chicken or duck eggs which are always available.Be sure to check back for farm updates.
